For Volunteers
Young Eagles rallies are built by volunteers. Whether you fly, welcome families, or help on the ground, there’s a place for you.
Pilot volunteers
As a pilot, you’re at the heart of the experience. You’re not just flying a short local trip, you’re giving a young person their first real meeting with aviation. Flights are simple, well structured, and flown within clear operational guidelines. You’ll be supported by a ground team that keeps the day moving smoothly. If you’re current, safety-minded, and enjoy sharing aviation, you’ll fit right in.
Ground and event volunteers
Great rally days depend on a strong team on the ground. Ground volunteers welcome families, handle registration, brief participants, and help keep the day on track. You’re often the first person people meet, so you help set the tone for the whole experience. You don’t need aviation experience, just reliability, energy, and a willingness to help. It’s a hands-on role with visible impact all day long.
How volunteering works
Young Eagles rallies are organised, but easy to join. You sign up for the events that suit your schedule and choose how you want to contribute. Before each event, you’ll get clear information about timing, roles, and expectations. On the day, there’s a short briefing so everyone knows the plan. It’s designed to be easy to join, easy to understand, and rewarding to be part of.
